Movie Review: Wicked (Part One)

 

I am probably the last blogger to see this movie, but I finally went to see it this week. Going in I didn't really know the story at all. I've never seen the stage production or anything. For those of you also in the dark: it's a prequel to a little known story called "Wizard of Oz". I will call it a movie about 2 friends. The whole movie is phenomenal, but Ariana Grande plays the role of Glinda very well (she is a believable mean girl, but also sells the nice girl thing really well too). I think the real standout though is Cynthia Erivo. I don't want to spoil anything, but there are two very special cameos. I suggest you all go see it this weekend! I rank it 5 out of 5!
