American Idol Season 9 runner-up, Crystal Bowersox, and her husband of 2 and a half years, Brian Walker, have called it quits. Their courtship started as a whirlwind romance that led to a super short engagement which lead into a marriage that was destined to fail. I wish them the best of luck as they begin their new journey apart, and I will always support Crystal's career. They didn't have any children together, but she has a son from a previous relationship. Her sophomore album was released on March 26th. They released the following statement to
People Magazine:
"After two and a half years, we have decided to end our marriage. The friendship and love
which brought us together remains strong, and we will continue to
support each other in our careers and personal lives. We are hopeful
that people will be respectful of our privacy as we face this emotional
and challenging time for our family."
