The Voice vs American Idol
It all started with a comment that "American Idol" judge, Randy Jackson, made at the Television Critics Association’s Winter press tour last month:
“The winner of ‘The Voice,’ as I will remind you, was an artist who had a deal on Capitol for many years – a failed contract over there – so for that show it was almost like second chance people, it wasn’t like some new artist. It’s a different thing.”
So, when the three judges from "The Voice" appeared on Ellen recently (it will air tomorrow), Adam Levine had THIS to say:
I don't even watch "American Idol" (except for what ends up online as a "highlight" and I pay attention to who wins/runner up), but I love "The Voice", and if I was going to do a competition show, "The Voice" would win, hands down!
