Jessica Simpson - coincidentally, his ex-wife also made the list. I don't like her as much as I used to (singing wise), but she used to be quite awesome (and still has a special place in my heart):

Kelly Clarkson - the original "American Idol", and I also just love that she is herself:
Jennifer Love Hewitt - Yep, she made this list too :) (she has been my idol since i was 11):
Christina Aguilera - probably the most talented voice of my generation, and I have been a fan since MMC days:
Shanice - she has been my favorite singer since I was a kid, and I even got to meet her at 15:
Just like the blog before it (the bands), these aren't in order either.

Christina recorded in the building where I work when it was a music studio. She peed in a trashcan because she didn't want to walk downstairs to use the bathroom.
